Early Doors

The season started at a frosty Mallory Park in April. Practice went well enough and the saturday racing was good until the rain arrived

Sunday morning found a thick layer of frost but the day warmed up

The bike, leathers and rider were all too heavy, for now we could not do much about the weight of the bike however the leathers were changed

and the rider Dave Fitzpatrick started a weight management programme

We had good results and were satisfied with the weekends work

The Final Round at Cadwell Park - September 2016

Leading the novice event at the foot of the Cadwell Mountain section, this fantastic circuit should be ridden by every motorcyclist just for the hell of it. It is without doubt our favourite to date

After blowing the motor up during 2015 we had avoided over stressing the engine during the development year

As Cadwell was the final round of the year we decided to push the engine harder using the full rev range, we were pretty amazed that the little Laverda developed so much more power above 9000rpm, we rode away from 500cc bikes and now having lost some serious weight and gained confidence we eventually won the Novice title with our pal on another larger Laverda gaining the same number of points. We missed the F3 title by 7 points after not attending the Lydden round
The weekend was marred by a serious incident on the Sunday which caused the meeting to be abandoned
All told the year was excellent, we have already started the work for next season withe work on the engine, chassis tyres and aerodynamics, thanks to all concerned especially our sponsors Cheshire Pump Company Limited
